Personally Identifiable Information
Personally identifiable information refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate you individually. As a general policy, no personally identifiable information is automatically collected from visitors to the Site. However, certain non-personal information of visitors is recorded by the standard operation of InfoSpace's servers. This information is primarily used to provide an enhanced online experience for the visitor. Information tracked includes the type of browser being used by the visitor (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system (e.g., Macintosh, Windows) in use by the visitor and the domain name of the visitor's Internet service provider (e.g., America Online, Earthlink). By having this information, InfoSpace is able to automatically optimize the Site for a particular visitor's computer. Other use of this information may include internal review of the number of visitors to this site but only in an aggregate and non-personally-identifiable form.

InfoSpace only knows your email address and any other personally identifiable information when you voluntarily submit the information during a visit to the Site. Personally identifiable information you submit may be stored on the computers of individual employees of InfoSpace, but InfoSpace does not otherwise store or maintain such information in a centralized location.

Use of Personally Identifiable Information
InfoSpace will never sell, distribute, barter, or transfer any personally identifiable information obtained from you to a third party unless such practice is disclosed to you at the time such information is collected. InfoSpace will only use personally identifiable data provided by you for the purposes described at the time the information is collected (for example, to contact you via the e-mail address you provide to InfoSpace regarding a partnership opportunity).
