Program Management
Integration Program Manager

As an Integration Program Manager for LockStream Corporation in Bellevue, WA, you will:
  • Provide process, direction, and vision to our existing integration team

  • Define features and develop functional specifications

  • Be a key participant in the continuing development of LockStream’s integration efforts

  • Manage product development lifecycle including tracking schedules, quality assurance, and release to manufacture

  • Adhere to common goals for product development staff

  • Prepare schedules and statements of work for integration team

  • Assist in recruiting efforts for integration

  • Qualifications for this position include:

    • 5+ years experience developing software in C++ or Java; with at least 1-2 years of that time in a program or project management role

    • Prior experience as a program manager directing a cross-functional team through at least one successful product release

    • Extensive cross-platform development on the following: Windows and Unix; WinCE and/or Symbian development is a strong plus

    • In-depth understanding of software development lifecycles

    • Foresight to predict and identify hurdles in product develop lifecycle and manage risks appropriately

    • An ability to express thoughts clearly and illustrate objectives for technical and non-technical audiences

    • Team player with demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills

    • A passion and enthusiasm for leading technical teams and heading projects

    • A strong work ethic and willingness to spend time necessary to complete high quality projects

    • Adaptability to deal with any unexpected issues and shifting priorities

    • The following skills are strongly desired: encryption and security; embedded systems; enterprise software development; digital rights management (DRM) experience

Group Program Manager

As a Group Program Manager for LockStream Corporation in Bellevue, WA, you will:
  • Provide process, direction, and vision to our existing group of program managers and team leaders

  • Provide process, direction, and vision to our existing group of program managers and team leaders

  • Assist in definition of features and writing functional specifications as these relate to the overall project

  • Manage company-wide product development lifecycles including tracking schedules, quality assurance, and release to manufacture

  • Work with other members of management team to set common goals for all product development staff

  • Build trust and cooperation within and across teams

  • Ensure schedules and statements of work for all projects are in alignment with customer’s requirements and company’s commitments

  • Call regular meetings to check progress at intervals, address questions, resolve issues, and determine steps necessary to drive projects forward

  • Qualifications for this position include:

    • Extensive cross-platform development on the following: Windows and Unix; WinCE and/or Symbian development is a strong plus

Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer for LockStream Corporation in Bellevue, WA, you will:
  • Gather information and interview subject matter experts

  • Create online Help and user documentation in various operating system environments (i.e. Windows, Unix, Palm/Handheld, etc.)

  • Document the technical side of the business for internal audience and clients

  • Review functional specifications and provide input for documentation deliverables

  • Develop documentation plans for projects

  • Research, write, and edit white papers explaining the LockStream Digital Rights Management Solution

  • Write SDKs and APIs as needed

  • Write and edit other documents as needed in an extreme programming environment


  • Qualifications for this position include:

    • 4+ years technical writing experience with a focus on online documentation and Help

    • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, E-mail, Internet, and HTML; Experience with XML, editing, and single sourcing is a bonus

    • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a multi-functional team (i.e. development, test, integration, program management, etc.) to effectively drive documentation projects forward to completion

    • Must have strong decision-making ability and be comfortable working with limited supervision at times; Prior experience leading a documentation or technical communications team is a plus

    • Experience developing and managing documentation repositories required

    • Must be able to interpret technical information and write clear documentation

    • Prior experience in software and/or multimedia industries is a plus

    • Associate degree or certification in Technical Writing, English, or related is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred

Public Relations Consultant

As a Public Relations Consultant for LockStream Corporation in Bellevue, WA, you will:
  • Achieve significant, positive awareness of the company within customers/prospects base (both technical and management levels), publications/journalists, and analyst firms

  • Obtain coverage of company's products, customer success stories, partnerships, and business

  • Ensure the company's executives are considered industry experts by the press and always approached for comment on relevant industry issues

  • Maintain ongoing relationship with the press

  • Identify placement opportunities and coordinate pitches

  • Manage and maintain editorial calendars, coordinate pitches

  • Monitor press queries for publicity opportunities

  • Draft and/or edit press releases as needed; handle press release distribution and follow-up

  • Write, edit, and place bylined articles and white papers

  • Determine and submit entries for industry award competitions and product reviews

  • Organize product launch tours (press and analysts)

  • Research, interview customers, and write and pitch customer success case studies in key media

  • Develop and maintain customer press reference database

  • Prepare press materials/kits including support materials for tradeshows

  • Maintain press and analyst contact list

  • Track the results of public relations efforts through monthly and quarterly analysis

  • Qualifications for this position include:

    • An ability to effectively represent a growing technology company on the phone, in person, and in writing

    • Aggressive, self-starter individual with at least 4 years experience in high-tech pubic relations; agency and in-house experience is preferred

    • An in-depth knowledge of high-tech publications and analysts with verifiable existing contacts with journalists and industry analysts; familiarity with vertical publications is a plus

    • An ability to grasp sometimes-complicated technical ideas; marketing communications experience in enterprise software is preferred

    • Superior written and verbal communications skills

    • BA degree in Communications, Marketing, or related
