New paintings from 2004 and 2005

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (WA) - The show concept stemming from a traditional Irish "wake", Kynan Antos shows his new paintings at Zeitgeist, on 171 S. Jackson St.

"The work is about the experience of losing a loved one and how we understand things differently in the absence of what we used to know."

It is the intent of "WAKE" to investigate loss; how memory is affected and persists beyond the visual. "How what we think and feel affects our visual recollection of the past."
